Aegis Award

Apr 2009- The founder of MD Kiosk received the 2009 Aegis Video & Production Award, the video industry's premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials. Dr. K Lee was awarded for her work in underserved populations.

The medical film that was chosen for the award, was entitled, "Breastfeeding for Healthy Babies and Healthy Moms." It was produced in 2006 and was developed at a private medical clinic, with the help of funding from the Eliminating Health Disparities Initiative of the Minnesota Department of Health.

Now in its 20th year, the Aegis Awards has established itself as a leading competition for professional video and film makers. The mission of the Aegis Awards competition is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective video/film productions being produced today.
