Biographies

Dr. Samuel N. Grief, MD, FCFP is a Family Physician since 1991. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community health centers, private practice and in academia. Currently, he is assistant professor in clinical family medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and the medical director for the UIC Campus Care health insurance.

Dr. Grief is a former radio show host of “The New England Health Hour” and “UIC Health Chat”. He has been an invited guest speaker to several television interviews and to many more medical seminars.

Dr. Grief is also an accomplished writer. He is the co-author of “The End of Obesity”, published in 1998. He is the editor of the award-winning nutrition newsletter “Nutri-Talk”. He is a freelance author for several health and medical publications.
